What subscriptions can I gift on GiftStack?

GiftStack offers 70+ premium digital subscriptions across multiple categories: AI tools (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, Midjourney), productivity apps (Notion, Todoist, 1Password), health & wellness (Headspace, Calm, Strava), education (MasterClass, Skillshare, Duolingo), entertainment (Spotify, Netflix, Disney+), and newsletters (The Information, Morning Brew). We regularly add new products based on user requests.

How long does it take for the recipient to receive their gift?

For instant delivery, recipients receive their gift email within minutes of your purchase. For scheduled delivery, the gift is sent at 9 AM in the recipient's timezone on your chosen date. You'll receive a confirmation email once the gift is delivered.

Can I schedule a gift for a specific date like a birthday?

Yes! GiftStack supports scheduled delivery for any future date. Simply select 'Schedule Date' during checkout and pick your desired delivery date. This is perfect for birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, or any special occasion. The gift will be delivered at 9 AM on that date.

Can I send a gift to someone in another country?

Currently, GiftStack primarily serves recipients in the United States. Some subscriptions may have geographic restrictions based on the service provider. We're working on expanding international support. Check individual product pages for specific availability.

Can I customize the gift message?

Absolutely! Every gift includes a personalized message (up to 280 characters) that appears when the recipient opens their gift. You can write a heartfelt note, inside joke, or simple greeting. The message is displayed prominently during the unboxing experience.

What gift durations are available?

Most subscriptions offer 1-month, 3-month, and 12-month (annual) gift options. The 3-month option is our most popular choice. Annual subscriptions often include savings compared to monthly pricing. Duration options vary by product.

How does the recipient redeem their gift?

Recipients receive an email with a unique gift link. When they click it, they're taken to a beautiful digital unboxing experience where they can reveal their gift with an animated unwrapping. After revealing, they see clear redemption instructions specific to their subscription, including any codes or next steps needed to activate their gift.

What if the recipient already has that subscription?

Most subscriptions allow recipients to extend their existing plan. The gift period will be added to their current subscription end date. Alternatively, some services let users save the gift code for when their current plan expires. Specific instructions are provided with each gift.

Can the recipient exchange their gift for something else?

Gift subscriptions cannot be exchanged for different products after purchase. We recommend choosing gifts you're confident the recipient will enjoy. If you're unsure, consider checking their interests or asking a mutual friend for suggestions.

Does the recipient need to provide payment information?

No! The gift is fully prepaid by the sender. Recipients simply redeem their gift without entering any payment details. After the gift period ends, the subscription will not automatically renew or charge the recipient unless they choose to continue.

What happens when the gift subscription expires?

When the gift period ends, the subscription simply expires. There are no automatic renewals or charges to the recipient. If they want to continue, they can subscribe directly with the service provider. Recipients receive a notification before their gift period ends.

How much does GiftStack charge?

GiftStack charges the subscription price plus a small 4% processing and delivery fee. This covers secure payment processing via Stripe, email delivery, the digital unboxing experience, and customer support. There are no hidden fees.

What payment methods does GiftStack accept?

GiftStack accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes, absolutely. GiftStack uses Stripe for payment processing, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified (the highest level of security certification). We never store your full credit card details on our servers. All transactions are encrypted with bank-level security.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Refunds are available within 24 hours of purchase if the gift hasn't been opened or redeemed by the recipient. Once a gift is revealed or redeemed, we cannot offer refunds. The gift itself is always a surprise during the unboxing reveal! However, the recipient will receive an email notification. For complete surprise, you can schedule delivery for when you're with them, or share the gift link in person instead of via email.

What if the recipient doesn't receive the email?

If the recipient doesn't see the gift email, ask them to check their spam/junk folder first. You can also access your gift link from your confirmation email and share it directly. If issues persist, contact support@giftstack.co and we'll help resend or troubleshoot.

How long is the gift link valid?

Gift links remain valid for 90 days from the delivery date. After that, unredeemed gifts may expire. We send reminder emails to recipients who haven't redeemed their gifts. If a gift expires before redemption, contact our support team.

I entered the wrong recipient email. What do I do?

If you notice the error immediately, contact support@giftstack.co as quickly as possible with your order details. For scheduled gifts, we can update the email before delivery. For instant gifts, we may be able to help if the gift hasn't been opened yet.

The recipient is having trouble redeeming. How can they get help?

Each gift includes specific redemption instructions for that subscription. If the recipient still needs help, they can reply to their gift email or contact support@giftstack.co with their gift code. Our team typically responds within a few hours.

Can I buy a gift for myself?

While GiftStack is designed for gifting others, you can technically send a gift to your own email. However, for personal subscriptions, we recommend subscribing directly with the service provider for the best experience and any available direct promotions.
